Maurice Fulton is one of our favourite producers. He’s quirky and out there, and as for his music? Ha! There is nothing dull about Maurice. His productions showcase what’s going on in his mind, so that just about says it all – it’s a musical adventure, on acid. But the question is, are you brave enough to jump on board? Maurice once had his moment of fame as not just the backing dancer in Hairspray, but also as member of Baltimore-based production team the Basement Boys who produced early 90s magic anthem Gypsy Woman by Crystal Waters. Maurice has since hurled at us forward-thinking musical curve balls under monikers Eddie & The Eggs, Cyclops and Ladyvipb amongst many. Oh, and he produced his wife Mu’s albums on Output and his remixes make your cheeks flush with pure joy. Nuff said.
